Talia Hartman-Sigall is a Brooklyn-born-and-raised theatre director, developer, and creator. She graduated from Northwestern University in 2025 with a double major in Theatre and English Literature. She has directed large-scale musicals, intimate plays, and long-term development processes for new works.

She believes her job as a director is to foster deep collaboration and community in every process, despite its size. And her commitment to connection extends onto the page—she loves plays that allow her to explore complex relationships and attachments between people. For her, it is these connections that make theatrical stories unavoidably human and deeply necessary.

When she’s not directing or developing a play, she works in production for fashion, music, art, and popular culture events, for clients like the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute (Met Gala), Chanel, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Apple.

And when she’s not doing either of those things, she can be found watching every rom-com that has ever been made, concocting elaborate baked goods with her friends, or eavesdropping on the subway while she pretends to read her book.
